K-Routine uses local device storage for core product and routine management. Some optional features, such as AI Shelf Assistant and subscription management, require communication with external services.

1. Introduction

K-Routine is a personal beauty shelf and skincare routine management application. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the app.

2. Local App Data

Product and routine information may be stored locally on your device. This may include product name, brand, category, opened date, PAO, estimated expiry date, routine settings, usage history and related app preferences.

3. Product Photos and OCR

Product photos may be selected or captured for product management and OCR features.

Product photos and raw OCR image data are not sent to the AI Shelf Assistant as part of AI analysis.

4. AI Shelf Assistant

K-Routine offers an optional AI Shelf Assistant feature for Premium users.

When you use this feature, information from your Beauty Shelf may be sent to our server and an AI service provider to generate a response.

This information may include:

Product name
Brand
Product category
Opened date
Estimated expiry date
PAO (Period After Opening)
Morning and night routine status
Product usage status
Shelf Health Score
Routine streak and related usage statistics
The question you submit to the AI assistant

This information is used to provide the requested AI-generated shelf analysis and recommendations.

AI-generated responses are informational and are not medical, dermatological or healthcare advice.

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

K-Routine uses RevenueCat to manage Premium subscription status and in-app purchases.

Payment processing is handled by Google Play or Apple's App Store. K-Routine does not directly receive your full payment card information.

6. Analytics

K-Routine may collect limited analytics and app usage information to improve application performance and product experience.

We do not intentionally include raw OCR data, product photos, email addresses, Kakao identifiers or product image paths in analytics events.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data transmitted between the app and our backend services.

8. Children's Privacy

K-Routine is not intended for children under the minimum age required by the applicable app store and local law.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when application features or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
